Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid Australia (MHFA) evidence-based training courses has for more then 21 years, equipped people with the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to listen, connect and support someone experiencing a mental health problem. My aim is to help individuals and organisations to incorporate mental health awareness into their personal and professional lives.
The Mental Health First Aid course teaches participants about the signs and symptoms of mental health literacy and teaches the practical skills needed to support someone experiencing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves. This course is great for the individual as well as for organisations looking to support their employees.
In person courses are available in the Perth Metro area as well as online Australia wide. Options for in person courses outside the Perth Metro area can be available upon request.
By advocating for mental health education and fostering understanding, I hope to help create a more compassionate society. I envision a community where shame and stigma surrounding mental health are replaced with compassion and awareness.
